The 2023 Halton Business Awards 

It was the hottest ticket in town as movers and shakers from the worlds of commerce, science and industry as well as not for profit organisations, packed the tables for this year’s glitzy Halton Business Awards. 

Organisations, large and small, joined together to recognise excellence and celebrate success on Friday 16th June, with over 400 local business leaders and talented employees coming together for the thirteenth Halton Business Awards Gala Dinner.  This year’s event was held at the DCBL Stadium in Widnes and hosted by Dave Guest, former BBC North West journalist, with The Direct Group as the main sponsor.  

The evening saw Halton Chamber Patron, James Timpson, Chief Executive of the Timpson Group set the scene making an appearance by video, in which he recognised the highs and lows of running a business, the many challenges organisations face and the important role everyone has driving Halton’s local economy.   

On the night, Genlab Limited, manufacturers of industrial oven and incubators, were big winners receiving the ultimate accolade ‘Halton’s Outstanding Business of the Year 2023’. They also took home the award for ‘Manufacturer of the Year’ and were shortlisted in the ‘Exporter’ category.

It is so nice that other people recognise what we do and the hard work that goes on year after year.
