Eco Excellence Award 2026

This award will be presented to a business within Halton which demonstrates all round excellence in business but also has introduced policies and practice which have or will have a positive impact on the environment e.g. processes and systems, staff awareness, product development, manufacturing etc.

The judging will focus on the impact and on the policies and actions of the business in this area as well as how these have been implemented.

The judging team will be looking for evidence of:

• Viable company policies which positively affect the environment
• A company-wide focus on green issues/sustainability
• A co-ordinated approach with robust implementation plans
• An understanding of the impact the businesses product/service has on the environment
• Evidence of a coordinated approach to sustainability
• A clear plan for growth of the business
